2013 Schedule

As of now there are only 2 teams that I can say the Lions are superior....AZ and Cleveland. Both of those gemes are on the road. I see another sub .500 season.

At Zona, at Cleveland, at Philly and Tampa they are superior but will still need to bring it with 3 road games in there.

They can go 3-3 in the division. I have no doubt no matter what turnover crap caused 6 losses last year.

Need to go 3-3 agaisnt Ravens,Giants,Cowboys,Bengals, at Pit, at Wash. It can be done especially with 4 at home.

anything can happen but I don't see them going 3-3 in the division. They are the worst team in the division and I don't think that changed in the off season.

They can beat Green Bay, Chicago and Minnesota at home. We'll know pretty early by Week 4 since 2 of them will be played. I like their chances at Chicago after the bye as well. And at Green Bay Week 5 they should be healthier at least compared to playing them late in the season the last 2 years

Lions need to stop the turnovers it killed them in division games. Peterson can have a good game like Week 4 last year just not a monster game like game 2. Lions did enough to beat Chicago twice, Minnesota and Green Bay if not for costly shoot yourslef in the foot turnovers and special teams. They get back to +4 and +11 turnover differential like in 2010/2011 and they can win division games. Lions shouldn't be scared of anyone in the division. Games will be tough but the Lions can play with anyone in the division.

Yes we lost twice to Chicago but got to their redzone 3 times with 0 points in game 1 and gave them 16 points off turnovers in game 2. Losing by 6 and 2. Game 2 we were missing all our weapons but Calvin and still scored 24.

Green Bay was both a one score game because of direct defensive tds. Pretty fluky off Schefflers hands and Staffords fumbles. Lions were winning with 2 mintues left at Ford Field and were dominating the first half at Lambeau with only Calvin and a bunch of street scrubs. Don't tell me we can't beat Green Bay.

Minnesota we held them to 6 points and again had costly redzone mistakes with a 4 and out and Leshoure fumble plus the Petttigrew drop. The other game Peterson just took over in the 4th Quarter.

We can win 3 division games. Bush, Quin, better DE play, healthy Delmas, healthy weapons, better Stafford, limti turnovers. They can do that.

sure...they can win 3 games if everything goes right like you are hoping. I just don't have any faith in this team. We shall see...maybe they will turn everything around.

Based on last years win/loss... Lions have 2nd toughest schedule.

See how the draft goes I guess... Could be a change at coach if don't do well?

Not everything has to go right. It could just be Stafford playing awesome again and we can win 3 division games. The rest of the team doesn't even matter if Stafford is tossing 40 TDs.

40 TDs = 2.5 per game. In the final 12 games of 2011 (including playoff game) Stafford averaged 2.58 TDs per game. The Lions were 5-7 in those games. Tossing 40 TDs does not mean they will win. It takes all three aspects of the game to be a winning team.

it looks even worse when you start looking at TDs per pass attempt.

He tossed a bunch in their 5-0 start there bud too. Lions finished 3-1 and earned the playoffs.

When he was hurt and turning the ball over he went 1-2. Lost two shootouts to the Saints and close ones to San Fran and Atl WITHOUT good offensive performances.

That 5-7 finish Stafford was hurt and the secondary was decimated with injury including the Saints shootout losses. Plus no Best. Let's hope Bush plays all 16. And he wasn't tossing many tds vs Falcons/49ers. I don't see a Saint 2011 offense other than Green Bay on the schedule.

Stafford tossing 40 TDS will win them a bunch of games. It won 10 no matter how you slice it. Would have been MORE than 10 if not for Best and secondary injuries.

Stafford is not throwing 40 TD's without Backus in there. He will be lucky to get 25 if Fisher is gone by 5.

He threw 2 with no picks without Backus last year. Plus helped set up another short Leshoure rushing TD. Reiff can get the job done at LT
