A cheap price for a guy like Trouba. But he wanted out of Winnipeg and its unlikely he is the only one.

Nashville desperately seeking improvement on forwards which they did at grossly damaging their back. Might be one of worst moves Poille ever made, or he can prove everyone wrong again. Especially since he gets 2 D-man in return!

Carolina Acquire: 1st round pick (2020 *top 10 protected*), 7th round pick (2020), and Marleau.

Carolina reportedly buyout Marleau who waived his no movement clause. Toronto get some desperately needed cap space. I wonder if Toronto is secretly fitting the bill on the buyout as Carolina historically lacked money.

Tampa Acquire: Mazanec, 3rd round pick [2019], conditional pick [2020]

Unless Tampa is clearing cap space kind of a poor move. Mazanec was acquired as a backup goalie during their goaltending woes last season. JT Miller at nearly 50 points signed for 5 more years just north of $5 million is kind of a steal.

Aye quite a cheap deal for a solid middle 6 forward. Andreas Johnsson is also getting a deal in the low 3 mil range.

Toronto might have the deals in word done but waiting on Marner contract.

I wonder who they will have to trade off or not resign because of their cap situation. They were over the cap before this extension. The AAV is nice for them.
