2019 Offseason (General)

David Clarkson submitted 16 team for his no trade list.

He is never going to play again. No idea why he wouldn't just wait his NTC and collect his paycheck.

Callahan diagnosed with degenerative back injury, meaning he should be LTIRed for rest of his career saving Tampa a ton of assets in potentially moving him and the cap space.

Kind of a steal for Subban.

New Jersey acquire: Subban

Nashvilla Acquire: Santini, Davies, 2nd round picks (2019/2020)

Nashville desperately seeking improvement on forwards which they did at grossly damaging their back. Might be one of worst moves Poille ever made, or he can prove everyone wrong again. Especially since he gets 2 D-man in return!

Toronto Acquire: 6th round pick (2020)

Carolina Acquire: 1st round pick (2020 *top 10 protected*), 7th round pick (2020), and Marleau.

Carolina reportedly buyout Marleau who waived his no movement clause. Toronto get some desperately needed cap space. I wonder if Toronto is secretly fitting the bill on the buyout as Carolina historically lacked money.

Aye quite a cheap deal for a solid middle 6 forward. Andreas Johnsson is also getting a deal in the low 3 mil range.

Toronto might have the deals in word done but waiting on Marner contract.

It was also rumoured they were shopping one of their D. It was either Schmidt or Miller.
