I fully expect the Tigers to suck again. I think they finish with a few more wins than the past 2 seasons.

67-95

I think they start off decent but fall back. Hopefully they can trade off a few players, most importantly Nick...but I doubt they get much in return. I think Miggy will post decent numbers but will probably end up on the DL again. He will probably hit around .290-.300 but his HR numbers will disappoint...20-25 tops.

I think the Twins surprise and take the division with the Indians taking a step back.

Twins
Tribe
Sox
Det
KC

I think we will do a little better.

77-85.

Miggy will stay healthy for 150+ games. The pitching staff will be better than we expected. Gardy will get the most out of the younger players.

Indians
Sox
Tigers
Twins
KC

If the Tigers trade off some players, say Nick, and a pitcher or two, the second half of the season could be worse in the loss column.

They might be ok the first half, it will be another long season though.
As long they don't lose 100, it's another year closer to the rebuild, or the truth comes out, that Chris Ilitch and Avila are both full of shit from the shoulders up.

The plan imo, is the big three of Mize, Manning, and Perez stay healthy and pitch great in Erie or wherever, and come up to Detroit in 2020.
But still need to draft better high ceiling position players.

65-97

Miggy gets 275 PA’s all year.
Nick goes for .288/26/95
Shannon Stewart .240/20/63
Candy .274/22/77

at 1-0 undefeated still they lose!
But really win the close ones and they will be better than last season. They had too many strikeouts and too many takes on in zone pitched, today. And the ump was giving the low pitch. Got to learn umps strike zone in game quicker.

I want to see the rotation a couple times.
Zimmerman A+ today keep this up and trade deadline sale for sure should Tigers not be winners. But remember he got off to a 5=0 start once. and then the injury bug struck. Yea want to see rotation a couple times. But will be better than 64- 98, unless there a trade off.

60-102

There isn't one area where they improved. They were 38-68 .358 WPCT after May last year. I think they should be right in that area this year.

I don't know if it's true, but from what I have read, their BP should be better this year. I also think that they will be better at the DH position. Just getting rid of V-Mart should be an upgrade. The rest of the team is just like moving around deck chairs on the Titanic.

Yes with road block gone they should be better. O wait grid lock has returned to the lineup. No hustle down the line will never beat out, the bad throw, the error, the turn at second, take out side at second, deep drive in the whole at short. Get out of the box and run out the at bat. Ball in play requires the D to make a play.

Hey they are looking for lighting in a bottle in More and Rust there two new throwers. Or as they say in Rocky and Bullwinkle Much better Moore and Rosie flowering Ross?!.

I believe they will be better at first, DH and lf by miles.

If the pitching can keep this pace they should win 162 games.

Remember you can not lose if they don't score. D fense and pitching keeps you in the game until the O gets it done. Who cares when the winning run scores 1-9, extra, 10th with a Homer. Play the D looking at yesterday's game, the D played the game. Our D out perform the pitching out of 30 outs the pitch had 7 outs the D had 23, and some of them were good to great plays. That's how you no hit a team with good D. 70 pitches in 7 innings means the D had to be good.
Yes Zimmerman did a magnific job. Keeping the game tied was as important as no hitting them. This game IS a great game to build on. Pitching and defense did the job that put this game into one to remember.

Here a prediction keep Zimmerman healthy and good things can happen.

Here a another prediction Matt Boyd, got some shoes to fill today. As the number two starter he better be ready too.

In my opinion what the pitching does is how well the Tigers do.
