It's insane this isn't already standard procedure: He promised to give House members 72 hours to review bills before they come to the floor, to require a vote to raise the federal debt limit and to hold votes on congressional term limits and a border security plan, multiple outlets reported.


If we want to stop hordes of refugees from mobbing our border, we should stop overthrowing the governments of the countries they live in and creating humanitarian crises, because like, some fruit company doesn't want to give their banana pickers a raise... but no one can talk about that.


This: McCarthy also agreed to cap discretionary spending at the levels they were at the beginning of the Biden Administration for both defense and domestic spending, as part of a commitment to balance the federal budget within 10 years.

If they manage to actually cut defense spending, that would be incredible. I bet it falls apart.

Remove the incentive that keeps these parasites in office and populate congress with those who are actually interested in serving, own no one anything, and are looking forward to returning to "civilian" life.
