2024 Election

when you can't argue the facts, impugn the source - just label it right wing and throw in a few emojis. Like I said, I know you'll cling to the lie until the end. You can lead a fool to the facts but you can't make him not be stupid.

Do you even listen to what you type? The fact that you can continue ignoring the overwhelming majority of the evidence and then claiming that those few outlier opinions are the real truth is just absolutely mind boggling. You sit here and accuse me of everything that you are doing yourself.

It wouldn't matter if I spent hours providing links to hundreds of published papers from climate scientists across the globe. You'd find that one far right source with an agenda and then pass off their extremely biased opinion as indisputable fact.

This conversation is over, you are just too goddamn stupid to take up another second of my time.

I've looked at the evidence from both sides and I've seen the evidence exposing the "consensus" lie and seen through the "number of papers published" bs. You've swallowed that garbage hook, line and sinker. That's the main difference. You should try questioning the narrative sometime, you might learn something - unlikely, but it's possible.

I doubt you'd know where to look to find any of it - you're more of a cnn.com headline kind of guy. Someone tells you 97% - a number that's obviously not correct and you don't question it. Someone else tells you the merit of an argument hinges on the QUANTITY of papers published, and you don't need to consider the other side.

How about you post the link to the NASA data that corroborates my point for a third time, then throw in some insults and some emojis, maybe mention the Koch brothers to really drive your point home - show everyone how smart you are.

not a shock, but Pence threw his hat into the ring.

He has as much chance as my neighbor's 17 year old dog has of winning the Kentucky Derby.

All because he didn't do what Trump wanted and ignore the constitution, right?

Hilarious how Trumpers claim to be patriots who love the constitution but stick by their orange messiah even after his multiple attempts to use it as toilet paper after a bucket of KFC.

I'm not a Trumper. Personally I'd prefer a guy like Pence to Trump but I know Pence can't win and there are people in the race I like more than him so I'll be supporting someone else - probably DeSantis but I'm open to changing my mind based on what I see in the primary race.

To answer your question, no that's not why Pence has no chance. Pence has no chance because he's too decent and he has no personality. One thing Trump taught the world is in order to beat unethical, immoral Democrats you have to be willing to punch back. You have to get a little dirty. Pence is the kind of guy that rises above the fray who will try to be cordial, polite and respectful of the Dem sewer rats he'd be running against, and he'll lose because of it.

As a dyed-in-the-wool leftist sheep, you shouldn't be talking about the constitution. You know nothing about it, have no respect for it and you have no credibility when you try to stand on it.

Ahhh yes, it's democrats that are "unethical and immoral" not the republican party and all of its members of Congress who have continued to stick by Trump because their job is more important to them than the country. Even Pence has waffled way too much on calling out Trump for what he is.

hopefully those people will succeed in saving the country from your team that clearly hates everything about it, is virulently racist, anti-science and amoral.

Hilarious how the right tries labeling democrats as being everything they themselves are.

you have it backwards, it's the left that loves to accuse conservatives of doing exactly what they're doing while they're doing it. I'm merely shining the light on you.

The left loves this tactic, particularly using it in tandem with another favorite of the left that's right out of the Alinsky playbook (he was your hero Hillary Clinton's mentor) of calling the opposition names and impugning their character repeatedly and loudly so eventually you won't have to defend your indefensible positions, you can just call them names to discredit them.

That ND board was another level of delusion. I'll admit that I once got them in a froth over the 10-10 tie with MSU. They went ballistic.

giphy.gif

I hated them with a passion.

I went to each of the games in the series from '11 to '14. ND fans were the most chickenshit fans I've met.

The campus and surrounding area sucked too.

I've heard a lot about how beautiful certain campuses are, esp. ND, and I was picturing a lot of Ivy covered buildings and mature trees; all the parts of the campus I saw were constructed with a "suburban high school" aesthetic.

And South Bend was a dump.

Give me Ann Arbor and the Diag.

It's quite easy to impugn the character of the republican party, especially with what they've become since nominating Trump in 2016. Hate and conspiracies, that's your identity.

You mean it's easy to impugn their character when they repeat lies and their lapdogs in the media coordinate with them to propagate those lies. Their lies are beginning to be exposed and they're losing their power. Seriously, who do we hate?

And they're not conspiracy theories when they're proven to be true.

The Republican Governor from North Dakota enters the race - Doug Burgum. Doug is not a presidential name and he looks more like an NBA assistant coach than a President - at least in this picture. He should probably start going by Douglas. Anyway, I don't know anything about him but he could still have a better chance than Pence.

Yes, it's not like we see their hatred on full display every day. Showing up to spew hate in places you're not wanted is a republican badge of honor these days.

He looks like Mathew McConaughey's older, bitter, uglier, Brother.

He looks like a guy coming on a tv commercial late at night asking me if I have been injured in a slip and fall due to someone else's negligence, or the victim of a dog bite...his firm has operators standing by to take my call.
