Get StartedI have a different view. I think Trump will cut funding to Ukraine immediately and hopefully demand an accounting of the money sent, with reparations for those funds misappropriated. The war hawks on both sides will screech. Then I hope he turns on the alphabet agencies and at the very least fires the fat for those that remain and scatters the rest to the wind.I had hoped the one silver lining of Trump winning would be ending our wars - including the wars we're funding, or our proxy wars.
But given who he's nominating for "defense," state, and foreign policy, I think more likely Putin's statement that American policies don't change because of elections is more accurate.
I guess the assassination attempts sent a message and it was received...

Then it's up to us to. elect officials in congress who are not owned by those remaining federal institutions, many of which, IMO, are unconstitutional.
Buck is trying to blow up the globe before trump takes office. New dawning in America starts in two months if we make it till then.
I hope he does cut funding to Ukraine immediately. If he does that, it will make Biden's
greenlighting of long range strikes in Russia with US missiles look even more like the petulant war mongering it is. I hope he cuts funding to Israel as well. That (genocide) is perhaps even more shameful in the outcome and results than funding a war against Russia, which can at least punch back (more effectively than we can punch it turns out, as they've taken two additional provinces from Ukraine and counting...).
I hope someone can do an assessment of the neocon project and see that 30 years of it has been a disaster.
If it wasn't for the fact that we have the second largest nuclear arsenal on the planet, and an insanely violent and unstable track record to go with it, I think we'd be getting pushed around a lot more right now. Our weapons are over-priced and ineffective, we can barely manufacture ships and airplanes, and our military's morale and recruitment is in the toilet. And that's only what we see on the surface... apparently some US military bases have serious drug trafficking problems going on behind the scenes, especially Fort Bragg. I can only imagine what happens if you try to deploy drug kingpins to actually fight FOR the country...
The actual federal agencies not part of the DOD or three-letter intelligence agencies are fine in my book. I don't know where your basis to imply they're unconstitutional comes
from, but perhaps you have a sound legal theory no one else has considered for the last 100+ years of their existence?
This is Late Period Roman Empire levels of decay, and all went down in just a couple generations.
Non delegation has been on the burner for decades and it goes back to John Locke. Here's a list of "important cases" on the topic of non delegation.I hope he does cut funding to Ukraine immediately. If he does that, it will make Biden's

But yeah, as far as our society as a whole, we're now at Late Period Roman Empire levels of inequity and hence decay, and all went down in just a couple generations. Kinda impressive really.
Constant worry in my mind is how to avoid me or my kids getting crushed by some proverbial chunk of the state as it all collapses and falls to the ground...
