First off 40 runs on the score board says quite a bit for the Tigers. Lets look at it this way, that's 6.6+ runs a game. Which would get 1080 runs this season should that keep going. Like that would be humm great.
Second Tigers have given 22 runs a game which = 3.6 a game' That'll give up 594 runs this season! Like that would be humm real great!
OK the Tigers are off to a good start IMO. The problems are 2nd base is not hitting ! Fister is on the DL! The starters are not getting wins? The closer has only one save. Talked about in another thread.;Cabrera has not hit 40 homeruns yet!? well not everthing a real problem, HA,Ha,HA, MIke&Mike, there.
Really thoe the starting Pitching is somewhat of a concern right now even with a fine outing by Smyly today. Scherzer needs to follow up with a good start Friday and Wilk needs to get one Saturday as well for the Bullpen to stay healthly. IE ready.
And O BTW the Bats are banging away at a .305 average. Really should second base kick in. Think this team could really be off and running on all 9!

I hope the weather heats up... Chicago is a great home run park for us...I see bombs in our future this weekend... I hope...

If you would have just posted, 5-1, it would have summed of the season so far. And saved you from typing so much.

Or you could have just posted "game 5 proves that Verlander is not a true ace" and that would have done the same thing.

I can't decide if I liked the "true ace" conversation or the "players with heart" conversation better. Both were pure gold.
