4 with the Twins and 3 with the Royals.

What will make you happy... I think they need to go at least 5-2 or better... That would be my hope. they need to start winning big at home..

I agree. They need to win both series, hopefully we get a sweep in one. A little momentum before the All-Star Break and then pull away in the second half.

I want a sweep in Minnesota. Our SP are setup good. 2 with KC would be nice. They need to start winning a bunch at home.

4 game series are hard to sweep, so I'm hoping for 3 of 4 from Minny, and 2 of 3 from the Royals, but I'll be happy with 4 out of 7 on the homestand before the break which would put us right at .500 and hopefully a game or two out of 1st.

Anything less than 6-1 against these two bottom feeders is inexcuseable.

As long as we gain ground in the division race, I could honestly care less. I'd love to see 6-1 or 7-0, but I'm expecting 5-2 or 4-3 since this team is allergic to winning streaks.

5-2 should be the goal, 6-1 would be great. I can't see two sweeps by this team right now, they are way too inconsistant.

Given their momentum & matchups, I think they will go 6-1 & be 4 over .500 going into the all star break.

Both KC and Minn have been hitting well lately, if the pitching can hold em in check we should be ok 5 of 7 or better would be my expectations/hope.

Best time to catch up

Detroit
4 vs Minnesota
3 vs KC

Chicago
3 vs Texas
3 vs Toronto

Cleveland
3 vs LA
4 vs Tampa

If the Tigers aren't in 1st or 2nd place by the all-star break (assuming Chicago and Cleveland don't play out of their minds), I'll definitely be disappointed.

The twins and Royals both have winning records over their last 40 games and both teams score at a better clip than us.. Factor in that we can't score at Comerica and this sets up to be a pretty disappointing home stand. I'd say 3-4 is the best hope for this sad sack of ball players

Very happy with the 5-2 after starting out 0-2 on the home stand. To bad Texas, and Toronto couldn't have pitched in and helped us in Chicago this week..
