Good, I guess.

not that anyone deserving got left out unfairly though.

Perfect break point this year with 3-loss teams at 9 and 10. (Edit: Same for 2014)

Are you going to go top 8 in the country or the 5 conference champions+1 non-power+2at large?

Georgia would (and does) disagree.

I'd rather that the line is drawn between UCF and Washington, than Oklahoma and Georgia.

I was hoping we'd get Georgia in the bowl game.

I would want the 8 best. For instance - B1G has 3 teams better than the PAC12 champ this year. (I think Penn State would beat Washington.)

Georgia had their chance. They lost to Alabama in the SEC championship game.

Alabama vs Georgia will probably turn out to be the best football game this year. I watched it. It was an awesome game.

Yeah, it would have been fun to get the shit kicked out of us two games in a row.

It absolutely was. I watch all of the GA non-cupcake games.

Been here for 25 years and I haven't picked Georgia or Georgia Tech as a favorite, but, since GA is the better team lately, I watch them more than Tech.

Yes, lost to Purdue and as much as I hate to say it, osu should be playing Alabama instead of OU

Naw. Losing to Texas by 3 is not same as losing to Purdue by a zillion. Yeah Oklahoma should have lost to 11-2 Army at home but if the Maryland qb knew how to throw 5 yard pass they should have lost that game too.

eye test.

I saw Oklahoma?s offense. They can complete a pass. My guess is 30 to 40+ verses that shitty defense. Final score Oklahoma 55 Ohio st 40!

Fine with me!!

Clemson vs OU would be a great Title game and with Grandpa/Inlaw ties, my son is full on Boomer Sooner.

That said, I think it will be Bama 52 OU 30 and in the Rose Bowl, osu 49 UW 20

More teams are always great until you have the same problem - some teams will miss out thinking they deserve to get in. Plus more 2 loss teams and maybe a 3 loss team. Maybe they can play into February. I would hate this. What's to stop them from a 16 team playoff?

That's kind of my thought too. Just taking the current system and adding one more game on top of the rest seems like it is asking a lot of the players involved (who are now becoming more keen on skipping their Bowl games to preserve their health for the NFL draft, and I don't blame them for that). And it does not really solve that many problems. In that system #9 will still have a beef that they were excluded unfairly, and the minute a 3 loss #8 upsets a heavily favored undefeated #1, we will hear complaints that the regular season now has no meaning.

I think a better setup down the road might be a deal where we condense to 4 major conferences (say if the Big 12 were to fold at some point) maybe with 16 teams a piece, and you use those conference championship games as quarterfinals and go from there. It unfortunately it does not solve the Notre Dame problem (unless they somehow incorporate them into the ACC setup in some way even if not a full fledged member), or the possibly deserving non-power conference team (UCF now, or Boise St in the past), and I don't have an answer for that.
