Looked bad so far at the combine. 19 reps at 225 and is not in the top ten in the 10 yard split or overall 40 for the lineman! For a guy who's supposed to be athletic he looks pretty meh so far but we'll see after the agility drills.

A lot of the guards are looking good though!

Anthony Davis had a brutal combine and still went #11 overall....don't put a whole lot of stock in the underwear olympics.

Mike Adams is a 1st round pick.

not trying to be a smart ass or anything but would you be content with anthony davis with our 23rd overall?

Davis is horrid in pass protection and the 49ers took him way to high , the guy is a RT , but they thought he'd develop over to the left side...so far they're wrong.

point is...guys have brutal combines and still go high in the draft , Adams will test again at the Ohio St pro day and most likely improve his numbers...he had a pretty good Senior bowl and benefits from a weak tackle class again this year with really only 1 real stud in it.

IMO the Lions won't go OLINE in the first anyway , and I think they disregard OT all together again this year.

god I hope not. I seen you posted they're still gushing a little bit about Fox. not real sure why?

basically, its looking like Avril will be back. if that's the case then where do we go? is it starting to look like CB is a lock if Jenkins or Kilpatrick is there?

I was really hoping we would take this year to start upgrading the line with some top tier talent.

edit: I know Mayhew says BPA but I'm just not 100% buying it this year.

Im hoping for a OG/OC in the 2nd or 3rd.

Im with you I think CB in round 1 also.

hows Peter Konz(sp?) looked? I havent been able to watch it. I'd like him to take over for peterman and eventually Dom.

I like C Glenn, if Barron is gone. P. Blake would be nice in the 3rd. Both can play multiple positions

I'm starting to board the C Blake (Baylor) train a bit. Looking like good value in the later rounds maybe?

Adams is going to be a very good OT in the NFL...it's going to take 2 or 3 years but he will be solid....he'll get drafted late 1st by a team willing to give him time to develop and start him at RT...he'll get stronger and eventually move to the left side.

ya hes one of those big uglies that get to develop on the teams like NE and PITT who get to pick those guys every year at the bottom of the first.

Reiff (Iowa) was looking really good too. What round is his projection? Gotta be first.

Edit: Nevermind. I just saw him going #6 to the 'Skins on Walterfootball.com

ya more than likely a lock to be the 2nd tackle off the board. One thing about this combine is a tackle didnt make a huge jump like someone usually does. I thought that guy might have been Adams before the day started but it didnt happen. Glenn had a real good day but im guessing he plays inside unless a team has a big need at RT.

Reiff measured shorter then expected and like Bulaga is expected to drop.....

A "number of teams" have reportedly moved Iowa OT Riley Reiff to guard in their draft positional rankings.
The same rumblings surfaced two years ago when fellow Hawkeye tackle Bryan Bulaga measured in with short arms at the Combine. Reiff's arms are 33 1/4 inches, also sub-optimal for an NFL offensive tackle. The team that drafts Reiff likely wouldn't do so to play guard, but his draft stock may have taken a hit in Indy. He's not in Matt Kalil's area code as a left-tackle prospect.
