Airport protests miss the mark

I'm all for civil disobedience and peaceful protests and I'm not even opposed to them getting disruptive and costly at times, but they have to be well-targeted. These airport protests impact regular people. Some of them are trying to get to funerals. Some of them aren't wealthy and have a lot riding on these trips. It's important to try to not hurt 'the little guy' when you're standing up to power and if you do inconvenience the little guy, try to do so minimally. Plane flights can be a really big deal.

you don't have a problem with them being disruptive and costly but plane flights can be a really big deal? isn't it a big deal when they burn down stores and other businesses they or at least their communities rely on? How about the limo torched in the inauguration protest that was owned by private family business started and run by a Muslim immigrant? Maybe he's wealthy but maybe he's not and honestly, why would that matter?

My problem with most of these protests is that they're started on lies, half truths or misreported facts by the media and various groups like BLM.

I consider it to be a good sign when I get attacked with strawmen from both you and MC based on the same post. On what planet have I ever been remotely in favor of burning down stores or limos?

it was a question - you said you were even in favor of protests that are disruptive and costly. What did you mean by that?

Trump will put everyone back to work hopefully.

With all these protests every week he's created several hundred jobs just picking up cardboard off the streets. Way to go trump! Make america great again! We will have the best card board picker uppers ever!

I mean people marching and getting in the way, not vandalism and destruction. I mean that a protest being disruptive or costly does not immediate make it a bad protest, not that everything disruptive and costly is good.

I like marches that nobody comes to.

After that, I like marches that happen overseas.

I prefer marches to be far, far away from me that don't get in my way.

It was funny to hear Madonna use so much profanity on TV though.
