All Mid-west final four in baseball

And remember if the Phillies don't nut up and sweep the Braves the last three games the Cardinals are not even in the playoffs..

I'm sure ESPN and many others are not happy the east coast teams have been elimnated. The good news is they almost have to cover this fairly based on the teams that are left.

The Detroit Tigers are now the eastern most team remaining in the MLB playoffs.

Not that it means shit, but the Cards and Brewers were 9-9 against one another this season.

I don't know if anyone ever referred to anywhere in Texas as midwest.

Yep. But they're not really south. South Western I guess. Nonetheless, no NYY or Boston or Philly is always good.

The Brewers dominated early in the year and the Cards late (MLB Network). Makes it hard to handicap the series, but the Brewers have homefield and remind me of the 1987 Twins with that homefield.

Nope, just the East, as in NFC East, with the Dallas Cowboys, and Central, as in NL Central, with the Houston Astros.

Does ESPN even know how to cover the mid west? I say they hire a new baseball coverage team just for this next 30 days or so.
