Get StartedHe will most likely add Jim Tressel to his staff, possibly even as an offensive cord. UGH!!
Why would he do that?
Let's hire Arod..he isn't doing anything for the next year.
Well, Tressel has a horrible record at Ohio State. Definitely couldn't have him on our team. /sarcasm.
I don't like the guy, but if he can coach, I won't complain one damn bit. Fuck Ohio, but this isn't college ball anymore.
Did Caldwell break down youtube videos of Matt Stafford? If so, he's our man.
I didnt love the idea of either wisenhunt nor do I love Caldwell. That being said I dont care if they hire Tressel. I hate him because he coached Ohio but he was a good coach and showed the ability to adapt his offense around his weapons. In college the read option worked but he also used to run more pro style offenses. I would still rather go get Zimmer from Cincy and give him a shot at fixing this damn team with his no nonsense style. A real players coach that demands respect. Caldwell though was a decent coach while at Indy but was left with nothing in the cupboard when Payton was out.
Caldwell is a joke. This organization does not have a clue. Get ready for 5 more years of shit football. Pathetic. The guy's a flippin genius cause he supposedly watched every game on staffofford and broke it down for the clueless clowns in the front office. Heck I only need to watch one game and I know what the deal is... bad footwork, canon for an arm, bad decision maker.
Whisenhunt was the wiser for sure.
Sorry Caldwell is a joke. He took Dungy's team to the Super Bowl in his first season, then went 10-6, then 2-14(without Manning). The 2-14 year doesn't really concern me but the 10-6 year does. The Colts were sliding when he became the HC. He also did a terrible job in Baltimore this year, I don't think losing Boldin means your team should drop to almost dead last in offense.
