Do you think we are pretty muc done in Free Agency outside of a couple minimum contracts? Obviously re-signing Lawrence Jackson and Durant are possibilities yet and I think we look at cheap options at WR, but are we done in FA outside of that?

Theres still some options out there for us, but we obviously have limited cap space and we've done quite a bit already. Theres still quite a few options out there to improve this team, some expensive some not so much. I'm gonna list some notable players out there at positions of need.

WR

DHB
Domenik Hixon
Ramses Barden
Steve Breaston

OT

Andre Smith
Sebastion Vollmer
Jake Long
Eric Winston

OG

Brandon Moore
Lance Louis

DE

Elvis Dumervil
Osi Umenyiora

DT

Corey Williams (I think he re-signs for cheap)

OLB'ers

Daryl Smith
Thomas Howard
James Anderson
Aaron Curry(Still think hes worth a shot and would be cheap)
Nick Barnett
Karlos Dansby

CB

Brent Grimes
E.J. Biggers
Quentin Jammer

Looking over the remaining FA's there are a TON of veteran CB's who can still play.

Obviously a lot of these players aren't options, but I still think we have a few moves to make in FA. I think we get another CB(might wait until after draft). There are more then enough cheap options at OLB'er so I think if Durant don't re-sign we have options.

This is my prediction of how the rest players out

Re-sign

Jason Hanson
Justin Durant
Corey Williams

Sign

Osi Umenyiora
Domenik Hixon
Quentin Jammer

We obviously have interest in adding some help at DE, otherwise we wouldn't have had interest in Bennett or wouldn't tried (albeit obviously not that hard) re-signing Avril.

Umenyiora is gonna realize hes not gonna get what he wants and will have to sign a 1 year deal to rehab his value. By coming here he gets a pretty easy path to a starting spot and gets to play next to Fairley and Suh. We've already shown interest in Hixon and I doubt he finds much more then whatever we offered. Jammer is in a super crowded CB market and would probably settle for something like 2 years 5mil. He is a bit older, but he is reliable and consistent. As for Williams I just don't think he is gonna find anything out there so why not just re-sign somewhere your comfortable and we obviously have a need behind Fairley and Suh. Same with Durant he said he wants to come back and the money is not gonna be out there for him.

Extend Stafford long term and lower his cap number the next 3 years at least. That's be nice and huge win for the future.

This would set us up nicely for an OT in the first.

we still have a ton of holes so I hope were not quite done. Id look for atleast 1 solid starter at DE prior to the draft. A solid guy like Idonije should come cheap. DHB is still intriguing for me....he definitely showed last year he can take the top off a defense even with carson palmers noodle arm.

Hixon ain't flashy but he's efficient. Underrated reciever/route runner.

Personally, I'd prefer Biggers over Jammer. Younger, has gotten better every year in the league. Fast. Plays outside, which we need.

I think we stand firm with what we have right now at CB. They want Milliner bad, and he will be wearing Honolulu blue if he is there at #5....but I really think the coaching staff loves the young guys we have. Green, Greenwood and Bentley.....along with Bartell.

At DE...I'd love to grab Elvis....but it would be too expensive. If I were Schwartz....I would look for a veteran or someone coming off an injury who would be willing to prove himself on a one year deal....then grab a young guy with one of the first two picks. Couple that with Young, Jones and possibly Lewis and you would be all set.

Re-sign Durant.....Better LB than Levy. Levy would be a good backup to all three spots if we're able to secure Durant and add an OLB in the draft.

Re-sign Williams.....for depth.

I'm all for OL with #5.....ONLY if Milliner is off the board though.

Who do you plan on starting at left tackle and right guard?

Left tackle is way more important than corner. That is why I'm saying even Lane Johnson is in the mix unless we can pull off a coup and sign Jake Long.

#1 is scary. Nagy and fox/Hilliard holding down the right side. Also trusting reiff 1 on 1 with peppers, Allen and clay Mathews scares the shit out of me. Lets pray to god we get our man fisher at 5.

Reiff was a first round pick who played fine for a rookie last year. Why would it SCARE you to let him go up against those three guys?

Reiff will be fine on the left side. RG is more of a concern to me that LT.

I have NO problem with the Lions grabbing a LT at #5......but not if Milliner is there. Milliner is BPA when talking about Milliner, Fisher or Lane Johnson.

The order I would use the first pick is one of the OTs if there. If they are gone Milliner then a DE if all of them are gone. In FA I would I would like DHB or Hixon, and a CB and DE.

Milliner is going to be a better pro than Fisher or Johnson and he still fills an area of need.

Since you said he'll be fine against the leagues elite pass rushers I'm no longer worried.... Better hope he's got a quick drop step. He'll need it with those T. rex arms.

Read it again tons a fun. I said he would be fine on the left side.....not against the elite. They are elite for a reason. I think he would be able to hold is own, but he isn't an all-pro.

Don't put words in my mouth.

I don't want Johnson unless we trade down, Jocekel(sp?) or Fisher. Not sure if either will be there, if not Milliner. I would not be pissed if they took OT, CB, or DE. They are all huge needs.

Not trying to be a dick but the nfcn will eat him alive. We have no chance at the playoffs if Stafford is on his back and we go o for in the nfcn again. The oline is a mess right now. Corner and de don't compare because you can disguise and get help from fairley and suh and safety help over the top. There's no disguising a bad oline.

Heard the same shit about Backus for years.....yet stafford threw 8730 passes last year and survived all 16. If I'm not mistaken Allen, Peppers and Matthews were all in the division last year too.

You don't think a rookie LT.....as good as Fisher might be.....wont get lit up A LITTLE by those three??? C'mon....you're smarter than that.
