Are We Done?

why restructure calvin if we weren't signing anyone....seems odd.

Need Hanson, maybe Lo Jack and fit the draft pick(3.5-4 million mainly for the 1st rounder). We don't know how much Delmas took up. They were 4.5 million under not including Delmas cap number.

I read that they wont bring back Lo Jack until after the draft if they bring him back at all. I also saw that they don't plan on bringing back Durant at all.

The link shows the Lions are about 9.5m under the cap: They could still sign someone.

Its updated showing the Calvin restructure..

No Delmas, Gandy or Osgood in that number. Delmas should take off a good chunk. Osgood is like 700k with the vet deduction and Gandy should be around the same. Need Hanson re-signed and room for the draft picks(3.5-4.5 million(1st rounder), as we are over the 51 player rule so Rounds 2-7 shouldn't cost more than who is on the roster already).

I missed that Delmas wasn't there. Probably because no one knows the exact details of his contract.

Delmas deal really a one year deal. Only 1.215 cap number this year. His cap number next year will be based on incentives. 6.5 million at least could be over 8 million though.

The Delmas deal is really a one year deal, no way he's getting 8 plus million next year unless he plays all 16 games. Only 500 k dead money if cut next year. Or he gets extended to a long term deal if he proves he can play all 16. We shall see. Smart to make some of his cap number based on playing time though.

So we had 4.5 in space, lost 1.2 to Delmas but gained 3.4 for Calvin. So 6.7 in space left.

The FO did a great job in FA this year. Another good contract deal.

Durant visiting the Cowboys..I know some don't like him but I would have liked him back. More than Levy anyway.
