I prefer the very compressed pic.

Either way, I would like to visit Mars. But I think I'd actually prefer to visit the Moon. It seems a little more poetic; a little more dramatic, what with the Earth right there.

I know mind-boggling !!!!! You know more about this stuff then I do I'm just a real novice amateur computer,book, and magazine astrommerr but those distance you call crazy sometimes just plain freak me out. So darn big and it goes forever. Plus every time I talk to me wife about this stuff she just rolls her eyes and says stop because she says she just can't grasp the distances evolved. Again so crazy vast!!!!!!!

I think soon I may invest in a decent telescope but we have such great pictures online i just never pull the trigger on a good one...I miss my power astronomy big binoculars that broke
