The story:
http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/07/us/ncaa-athletes-reading-scores/index.html
The scores:
http://www.cnn.com/interactive/2014/01/us/college-scores/index.html
About half the schools responded to CNN's request for test scores. They say they'll update when they get responses from their appeals. For the most part, the Big Ten didn't respond. They probably should. I bet they'd put everyone else to shame. Wisconsin is the only Big Ten school that did send data and while I haven't checked every school, Wisconsin is by far the best I've seen with only 1% of the football players reading at less than a college level.
edit: correction 2% at Wisconsin. Still. Good job.
