Austin already lining up interviews

Don't forget - made Peyton Manning.

Austin is a hell of a DC but at some point got to give the HC props for putting his staff in position to interview for other HC jobs out there.

What did Caldwell do for the defense, absolutely nothing. Maybe we should give Caldwell credit for Lombardi not getting any interviews.

One minute they were talking about Schwartz being the next HC in Buffalo and the next minute he is no longer employed in Buffalo at all, crazy. To top it off Rex is expected to bring in the DC from the Jets, trying to make it as much like the Jets as possible I guess.

LeBeau is a better candidate here than Schwartz, but honestly, the way the man ran the Bills D this year, I wouldn't mind him coming back.

There's just no way the ago that asked his players to carry him off the field returns to the team that fired him. Not happening.

By the way, reports are that the Cardinals have already spoken with LeBeau in case Bowles leaves, but he's leery about heading that far west with his family rooted in Cincinnati.

He prefers to stay in the region, which would make a Lions reunion a possibility if Austin leaves.

Schwartz was offered to stay in Buffalo, and declined. If Austin leaves, I'd have no problems with Schwartz coming back. Just keep the cameras off him.

I can't imagine there is anyway they would bring back Schwartz in any fashion.

wont happen douche shorts will prolly end up back in the div somewhere, like with the Bears or something...man I rally hope nobody hires austin, he needs to stay put for at least one more year odds are prolly slight better now that the NFL will let the lions win at least one playoff game next year after that screw job this year

Austin has been helping the Lions interview draft prospects, good sign he isn't going anywhere.
