Bacon

That's him. I saw him walking through the stadium Saturday too.

Well, Red, I don't know if he'll be given access to any non-public information any time soon... BUT... I hardly think the University is going to go so far as to physically bar him from the Big House... (not like that would even stand up in court.)

who wrote that article, BTW? Mitch Albom? the "high-school yearbook" type sappiness in the end made me wanna puke.

I've been a Michigan fan longer than the author... there's a "right way" to explain the gravity surrounding The Game, and The Win, and a "wrong way."

like... there's good poetry, and bad poetry...

good writing... and Mitch Albom writing...

And here I was thinking we had a great discussion going on about the best food on earth:

I actually haven't read it. There are a couple new writers on mgoblog and I think that's the one that covers recruiting, but It could be the other one. I actually read more of the user posts than the actual blog content.

And I'm not saying the university would bar Bacon or anything like that. But somebody said he'd been banished to the Drew Sharp corner of the press box. It looks to me like he must still be on good terms with some people.

Which is what? Bacon or buckeye tears?

I gathered at the time that the threats to "banish" him were mere hyperbole, not meant to be taken literally.

I don't think anyone really cares enough to make it personal, especially since the mood around the program is so positive right now.

I DO think his next book will probably be written without the official cooperation of the Athletic Department. And I doubt Carr will be seeking him out to help write his memoirs if he ever decides to...
