BBWAA votes Barry Larkin into the HoF

I don't think anyone has gotten as high a % as Morris just did and not been elected. BUT, as Gammons just said, he will have to contend with Schilling, Glavine, Maddox, etc.

He is in though;the record is Gill Hodges at 63%

Wrote Sunday that 60% would be good sign for Jack Morris. With 66%, his situation looks much better, even with big names joining ballot.
Would love to see how many new votes for Larkin also voted for Trammell. Gotta believe it was quite a bit with that jump to 37%.
Jason Beck

Alan Trammell's support growing. He's up to 36.8% -- an increase of 12 points since last year. Four lyears eft, still faces tough odds.
Jack Morris jumps up to 66.7%. He has two more chances on the ballot to reach the needed 75%.

Looks good for Jack. Bagwell inching up. Raines inching up. Tram got a boost this year. The next couple of ballots are huge, but if the writers choose to punish the steroids guys, maybe some of these others will make it.

Get him. You can be sure if Tram or Morris were redsox he would have been hugging their nads from day 1.

That's a good sign for Morris. Didn't expect him to be so high. And Trams was a big increase. Still got hope.

Larkin is one of five players who played at least half their games at shortstop, who finished with at least 2,000 hits and 150 home runs, along with Hall of Famers Cal Ripken Jr., Robin Yount, "Alan Trammell", and Joe Cronin (Ernie Banks isn
