I didn't even realize he was sick. Crazy that he did those Marvel movies while in the middle of treatment.

I knew of Black Panther though never saw it but didn't know the actor who played it.

I knew of him from 42. You figured he had promise and/or pedigree when they gave him that part with such a tiny resume.
