Blue Jackets 3 Red Wings 2 Final ot

The ice is like 90 degrees tilted toward Howard as the wings can’t get any offensive zone time at all.

Same old crap in overtime . 7 wins in a row over the wings by the Blue Jackets.

Frustrating.

Wings looked awful. The ice was tilted one Way only . Wish we had a different coach .

Wings were 3-12 in overtime games last season . They did great in shootouts.

Still a lot I liked about it.. The rookies for the most played well.

Agree the rookies played good. A few minor mistakes but a solid start to build from.

An off-ice concern is the attendance it looked 50-60% full. The Joe had that problem in the lower bowl with 'corporate' season ticket holders. I've been wondering for years if one of the Illitch umbrella companies just 'buys' up the remaining tickets so they can claim a sellout. Wings only report # of tickets sold, not the actual attendance at games.

Same just give out those tickets to fans who want to see it. Looking empty is no good.

Like I said, that is just something I am thinking.

Have absolutely 0 proof for it.
