But hey...only Dem presidents waste 10s of millions for political and personal reasons, like SS protection for family members living in another state, and SoE cabinet members using US Marshalls for extra security when very seldomly visiting schools, none of which were/are public, and excessively golfing only on private courses, mostly owned by the POTUS themselves, and campaigning nearly 200 times, despite not being even halfway through their first terms in office. Plus promoting unqualified family members to positions requiring top security clearances, and cabinet/staff members conducting government business through private email accounts, and thumbing their noses @ emolument clauses and tax-return releases.

And what "lefty orgs" told them that it would be easy to emigrate to the US? Virtually every ethnic group who has emigrated to the US since post Civil War met with some vocal, if not violent resistance. To see that some Mexicans are doing likewise to these asylum-seekers is no surprise, as well as ramping up their rhetoric to make it seem like most are troublemakers.

secure the border, enforce the rule of law and make asylum seekers come here legally and properly vetted = most righties don't believe that latino immigrants or asylum seekers deserve to come here. Also, implode/topple the Statue of Liberty.

Edit: to answer your question, I don't think anyone "deserves" to come here. I do think we have take in legitimate refugees (with limits), but those refugees, just like those looking to emigrate legally should prove they're worthy of it. Of course you're probably screaming "racist" to yourself right now, but it has nothing to do with race and everything to do with values.
