The time gaps in this thread are vomit-inducing, let's hope the Lions horrific years are behind us

1st win against the Chargers since 1978 (6 game losing streak)
1st win against the Panthers since 1999 (4 game losing streak)
1st win against the Bears since 2007 (6 game losing streak)
1st win against the Broncos in Denver since 1971 (3 game losing streak)
1st win against the Vikings in Minnesota since 1997 (13 game losing streak)
1st Monday night game since 2001
1st Monday night win since 1998 (2 game losing streak)
1st playoff appearance since 1999
1st 10 win season since 1995
1st winning season since 2000
1st positive point differential since 1995 (barring a 91+ point win by GB next week)
4 points away from having the highest point total in a season in team history
5 home wins for the first time since 2007
5 road wins for the first time since 1993 (if they win next week, 6 will be the first time since 1961)

Current ugly streaks continued this season
8 game losing streak to the 49ers
4 game losing streak to the Bears in Chicago

Will try to add more if I can, correct me on anything if it's wrong.

Should I apply for a job at the Elias Sports Bureau?

lol yes, you should.

you should also add the huge losing streak to GB in lambeau.

I figured. That's probably the ugliest streak we have...except for the no championships streak.

I think their next TD (52) will be their most in a season in team history. IN TEAM HISTORY. That's amazing. And after only 28 starts Stafford is tied for the most 300+ yard passing games in Lions history with 8. **8**

Another one I wish they'd get rid of, beating Washinhton in Washington. 0 for a lot.

0 for 18 vs @ Washington Redskins all-time, and that is not including their 3 playoff losses, all @ Washington Redskins in '00, '92, and '83.

In fact, the Detroit Lions actually HAVE beaten the Redskins on the road, but it was in only one game on October 13, 1935, 17-7 in their inaugural season vs @ Boston Redskins...heh!!

The Portsmouth Spartans, of whom the Detroit Lions franchise originated from, also beat the Boston Redskins on the road, almost two years earlier.

The Detroit Lions are 12-30-0 (including playoffs) all-time vs the Washington Redskins...ugh!

But...hey, their all-time record vs their NFL./NFC Central and now NFC North rivals in the Vikings, Packers, and Bears is pretty damned shitty, too, and would probably take nearly half of the rest of the 21st century, while winning BOTH home and road games each and every season, just to catch up and tie each one of them...dlol.

The Lions franchise has an all-time "significant" winning record vs only the Atlanta Falcons: 23-11-0, the Cleveland Browns: 14-4-0, and the St. Louis/Arizona Cardinals: 33-24-5. No game-ending ties vs the Browns or the Falcons..hmmm.

The rest are very close to being a tie, most due to the relatively low amount of games played against them (AFL/AFC or expansion teams) or are also almost as bad as their losing record is, percentage-wise, vs the Redskins.

Don't put in your application to Elias yet. Your forgot the most obvious ugly streak. 0 for the last 8 Thanksgivings. :( That was the one I was really hoping to break...
