Browns after Suh

I love that defense already..he'd be great there. It's the offense and musical chairs at QB you have to worry about.

Anyway, playing in a 3-4? Bad idea for him. MONEY is money, he'll take the money.

Wouldn't he be DE in a 3-4? Might mean better stats.

I would think he would be a DE in a 3-4.

Would probably be a great fit.

But that offense is going to struggle to score more than 10 pts/game next year.

Hoyer will be gone.

Manziel is garbage.

Gordon - huge talent.......TINY little brain.

No other WR.

No RB.

Offensive line is ok.....but not great.

If his sister can't stand detroit I can't see her liking cleveland any better

I'm sure a whole lot of teams will go after him.

Only one will sign him. I doubt it will be Cleveland. Who wants that?

We could put the money saved by letting Suh go and invest in the O-line.

Since the NFL has both a salary cap and a salary floor since the last CBA... we are certainly going to put that money somewhere. O-Line would not be a bad place to invest, nor would the D-line losing both Suh and Fairley.

But they can't just sit on it. Each team has to spend a minimum of 89% of their cap next year, with a league wide spending of 95% of the total cap.

Suh has been informed that he'll be franchised before Lions let him walk...Are they bluffing? I don't know but I do know he's been told from the organization that they will use the tag on him.

No way in hell. Where did you read that?

Too much money, it would be insane.

I'm not expecting you guys to take my words and run with them...It's the internet, people get on and lie all the time. I have no link, video or proof of what I'm typing.

I'm from Portland, Suh's hometown. I don't know him personally but do know people involved with his entourage. And that's where I got my info.

We would pay him $27 million dollars for one year.

I know, it's that or possibly lose him...What would you do? I'm doing what ever needs to be done to keep him in a Lions uniform next season.

I would hate to see him walk and not get anything for him. That is what is going to suck if he does walk...

The thing I hate about the tag idea is if a guy doesn't want to play for your team, then how well will he go out and play? Sure he doesn't want to jeopardize his ability to get paid a high salary after that year, but it just seems like it deflates the player's desire.

Not to mention it completely hamstrings the rest of the team, so they better get some studs in the draft so they can play more guys under rookie contract, not to mention trying to get some re-treads to pay vet minimum to with hope they can have an ok final year or two.

27m in one year, perfect. Anyone would sign him to that is a idiot.

Seattle has cap room, could you imagine that D..not sure they would pay top dollar, then again Seattle is just up the road from portland, Suh may take less
