Caldwell to Return

Caldwell is garbage. ..but he's our garbage. I honestly don't think he would have fired lombardi on his own. I'm sure he was pressured from leadership.

He already proved he's best at doing nothing. when lombardi sucked ass the entire first year then did nothing about it in the offseason. Sucked for a handful of games in the beginning of this season. ...did nothing. Sucked for more games this season. ...did nothing. If it was up to him I'm certain he would have continued to do nothing.

And let's just suppose Mayhew wasn't about to let Caldwell fire Lombardi? What is he supposed to say then?

"Yeah, I'd personally like to drop the guy cause he gives me a bad case of douchebumps, but you know... the crazy old bastard that signs my checks won't let me. Maybe someday, right?".

I have no idea. That's the fact. And no one else does either. None of us will ever actually know what was happening day by day, or who was preventing what, or who was pushing for what.

The only we do know for sure is that's it's a whole pile of guesses from all of us, and everyone of them is just as moronic as the one before. Hell, my moronic guesses have dialogue.

Maybe, maybe not. I look at it like this. New system and scheme. That takes a little time. Sometimes a year or more to get used to it. You tweak it, you alter it, you move the pieces around. They obviously had a feel for it and they thought it would work. You don't just can a guy after one year in a new scheme. It just doesn't make sense.

lol...I was just reading an article on Quinn that said he retained Caldwell. I was on Vacation from the 14th - 19th and totally missed it!
