And mayhew why we're at it? Last year was the best lions record I've seen since I have watched but I still can't stand what I saw. The entire offense took a step back. Teryl austin is the only thing that kept us intact. And now I just read article after article where caldwell says everyone is going to suck and it's only going to be because of our philosophy. Except for eric ebron, caldwell said he should take a big leap up.....yay. This dude drives me nuts reading anything he says. Cut stafford, cut calvin at this point. Because he is running a philosophy completely different than all of our resources and time have been put into building this team. I see a huge lion meltdown coming sadly. And it's all becsuse of this fuckhead caldwell and mayhew obv has to share the blame. Not to mention last years rookie class was the worst fucking draft we have had since the Drew stanton draft. Fuck.

Win a playoff game.

I get your post is dripping with sarcasm, just win a playoff game. I don't give a shit if it's Jim Caldwell or the Big Buck, just win a GD game.

I love it that people think it's the negative leaning Lions fans that are the ones being unrealistic. Ohhhh....it's BEHIND the Hale-Bopp comet.

There are reasons why the Lions have never won 10+ games in consecutive seasons. I have zero faith in that historical ineptitude coming to an end next year. If they cannot figure out that the O needs to be fixed, they will not win 10 games vs the better competition they will be facing in 2015.

What bothers me is how content they seem to be with how the offense performed last year. It was like the jets, bills, Jacksonville level at times. And they aren't really trying to fix it.

R-e-l-a-x

You be sure to remember you said this when you are pissed off over the Lions NOT winning 10 games and missing the playoffs next year. When the Lions are losing games that you think they should have one, or would have won with a better O...just remember to RELAX and enjoy the loss. ;)

Quite honestly, if Stafford hadn't been under so much pressure and he was a little more accurate, this offense would have looked a lot better. I don't care what his completion percentage was, he was very inaccurate. No pressure and he either leads a receiver too much or throws it behind him. On rare occasions, he'd put it in the perfect spot and it'd lead to big gains. Stafford needs better accuracy. Plain and simple. I don't know how many times he would never look deep and solely focused on the easy 5 yard passes. And everyone on this board would crucify the offensive coordinator for the playcalling. It's not the OC, it's not the plays. It's the fucking QB. When Stafford is on, this offense is hard to stop. When he's off, he's way off and we don't have a running game to make up for it.

Ya, he was at like 60.3 comp %. He made it all the way up to 25th in the NFL....fucking awesome lol.

Youll have to ask LKP what his true completion % is....maybe he can crack the top 20 with that number.

So with time.....he decides what he wants to do with the ball. He throws it. And he STILL cant hit his man 7 out of 10 times. Awful.

I'm curious what the numbers show for the rest of QB's with time? I suspect Matt would be even lower..

One is a drop, one weapon no separation. Stafford is elite

What do you mean it's not the OC? You have guys on here that want his head on a silver platter.
