Piston should have won multiple titles during that period but something always screwed them be it a shot off of bad defensive planning, refs, James , Wade, and missing in the draft. Maybe coaching too. We always won a lot but something happened in the playoffs to the Pistons.

I forget . Why didn?t they just off this guy? Or did they need something (money) from him and that is why they killed the horse and not the guy? Been awhile since I have seen those movies. Nice scene though.

I?ve only seen it once about 8 years ago. If I recall he was a film director and wouldn?t give a role in a movie to someone in the Corleone family so this was their message sent in return.

I don't know how unpopular that really is. I happen to agree with you, and thought I was the only one who was extremely upset when the Pistons let him go. I think there's probably more out there who feel the same.

I hear people all the time say ?along with Rasheed Larry Brown put that team to the next level? and I think it?s ludicrous. I wasn?t even a teenager yet when Carlisle was let go but even then I was puzzled and found it idiotic. Unless there was something behind the scenes that I don?t remember.
