his first couple years several analysts were critical of CJ for drops and his production compared to how many targets he was getting. I remember chris carter wouldn't even put him in his top 5 because of it. he had a major problem with converting targets into catches....soooo....by your definition....the 2nd half of the year hes regressed back to his old self production wise. Id actually say its worse than back then cause hed just streak down field and make up for it with a 60 yard bomb.....he doesn't do that anymore.

He's been hurt!! lol. What do you expect? CJ is taking a beating this year. And you act like this is it for Calvin with your "he doesn't do that anymore" bullshit. Over 1400yds and 12 TDs, man ....he's doing the damn thing.

If he doesn't do it anymore cause hes injured...I get that! But the fact is he doesn't do it anymore lol. Hes not the vertical threat down field like he once was. We don't even try it. Im convinced Stafford cant even throw the ball over 10 yards anymore....haven't seen it in forever lol.

But CJ is injured. We'll find out how severe it is after the season. How do you figure he isnt the vertical threat he once was? How many deep balls has he caught this year? Quite a few actually. What year do you think youre in, buddy? lol.

37 catches on 77 targets the last 7 games....its not good. 48 % completion rate. 5 losses. 5 TDs. 37 catches in just about half of a year.....pedestrian for calvin. That's why I said he regressed. And the people that just start giving excuses saying hes injured.....in a backwards way youre agreeing with me. Im not saying hes not injured....im just simply saying his production is down and hes not impacting the game like he has before. To me that's regressed. I agree it probably because hes injured and staff sucks....but its still regression.

Again the guy throwing him the ball has been at 52% the past 7 games. I'm not sure you understand the term 'regressed'. Either you don't our I don't but the fact he's still the best WR in the NFL.

He has some big drops. As far as not enough targets caught you'd need to dig deeper. Where were those targets, catchable - did he have to stop and turn around, were they 8 feet over his head, were they on target etc.? I'm not re-watching games to figure it out. Until that time I'll assume he was still a beast.

Just because I criticize him and only him doesn't mean I only blame him. But he gets the biggest blame, he's the quarterback.
