Coronainsanity

I hope you both realize what's at risk here - you're distracting people from the real pressing issues facing this country, like finding out which white supremacist groups tried to overthrow the government on January 6th.

Or whether or not the unvaccinated are toxic beings that should be shunned from normal human activity.

I thought we already knew they are. Is the science not settled on all things related to this bat virus that evolved naturally to jump species to humans?

Wait a minute...am I the one falling for the smoke and mirrors?

Edit: I mean "we" - I should be honest and take my lumps as one of those anti-science toxic beings to be shunned.

COVID science = in perpetual flux.
CLIMATE science = settled for all eternity.

big things change more slowly than small things.

I contend that GoF research is a far bigger threat to all of us than climate change. On many different levels. And it?s not even close. And the climate change problem-reaction-solution is a wedge of the larger Great Reset pie that?s being shoved in our faces.

We could have both

I don't think that's what matters though. What matters is if it's true or not.

Orgs like the WEF, CFA, Atlantic Council, Club of Rome, et. al., are all about control by any means necessary. And their ?reaction? - ?solution? aspects of the dialectic continually affect our liberties.

What's that got to do with whether or not important qualities of the environment are sensitive to changes in the chemical composition of the atmosphere and ocean?

I?ve already stated the connection. Those in control will not be subject to what they will subject us to in the way of mandates, laws, etc. They do not and never will lead by example.

I had a science teacher who rode his bike or walked to school in 1970 to illustrate his commitment to reducing air pollution.

Biden and Putin, for example, could have conducted this summit on a Zoom call.

Doesn't change the wisdom in addressing a problem. If my house is on fire, I'm not basing my reaction on what I think of some of the people talking about my house being on fire.

Yup that?s how that typically works

The Reuters ?fact check? does as fact-checks often do. They take the entirety of a story and determine its validity based on a single component. This makes it easy for them to ?debunk? stories that go against the mainstream narrative by isolating one false statement and condemning the entire story as a result.

In this case, they barely skimmed over claims that all four pilots had been vaccinated recently and instead honed in on a conspiracy theory spreading on social media that British Airways is in emergency talks with the government to prohibit vaccinated pilots from flying. There?s even a recording of the claim made of an anonymous source discussing specifics that clearly make very little sense. But it?s the meat of the Reuters fact-check, giving them the ability to disregard the entire story because of the single false component.

in some cases seems to be more potent on those who have been vaccinated.

That?s been my main concern from the get go, how will immune systems react the next time it contracts a variant.

Cytokine storm. The eugenic fraudchi will blame the unvaccinated when this occurs though.

Several sources say the average annual carbon footprint of any American: 20 tons a year. Seems like a lot and maybe it is.

This 2009 article estimates that the annual carbon footprint of a US president is approximately 41,000 tons. Link

This 2018 estimate was 130,000 tons. Link

And, there?s planet-wrecker Trump Link

So, who thinks that our elected representatives would be liable to pay taxes due to a ?Carbon Enforcement Mechanism?? Link

One thing that slays me is that Faucci - I can?t find the clip, but I?m sure everyone has heard it - has responded to the possibility of the lab origination with ?do you think the Chinese would kill their own people??

Wait?what?

What freaking Socialist/Communist totalitarian dictatorship/oligarchy HASN?T committed genocide/mass murder against its own people?

Does Faucci think we?re all a bunch of morons?

I don't think that's a super helpful way to worry about it - probably on purpose. If an individual worries about their own 20 tons and works super hard to reduce it and overachieves beyond anyone's expectations at tremendous cost, they might cut it in half. Which wouldn't be enough in the long term anyway even if everyone could do that.

We don't need to focus on individuals denying themselves consumption. That won't get us to zero ever. We need innovation. We need to subsidize it like it's a war, or at least a space race. We need to try lots of things that won't work in the hopes that some do.

I understand well-intentioned individuals trying to reduce their own carbon footprint because they want to do something. But leaders pushing individuals to act like it's a problem that can be solved through individual acts is BS.
