Get Started[color=#006400 said:biggunsbob[/color]]He is bodying up just about every time down the floor.. Just because you don't reach does not make it any more of a foul.. He does get away with a lot of body contact for a guard..

He gets away with contact because he is in position. The defender has just as much right to a spot on the floor as the offensive player. Nobody is used to that kind of play becuase nobody plays defense anymore.

No. If there is contact made and the defender is moving his feet, its a blocking foul. He has the right to a position if and only if his feet are set. Craft hits guys with his chest and shoulders constantly. Its a blocking foul, but if they called it everytime he did it, he'd foul out in 5 minutes.
That shit won't work when they get to the tournament.

With that logic every single time a defensive player makes contact with the offensive player and the defensive player is moving their feet it is a blocking foul. That is not the case. It is a judgement call and Craft is smart...he knows how to play great defense without fouling / getting called for a foul. As far as it not working when they get to the tournament...I don't think he fouled out in last years tournament. I think some of you guys that rip on Craft just don't like him because he is a smart white boy that isn't flashy. He is a hard nosed old school point guard. If he were on UM all of you would love him.

No one would ever like him because he is a DICK.
Going to ohio* just magnifies his dickish qualities.

dubbsco said:He gets away with more than any other defender I've seen in bball. The amount of hand checks that he puts on players (that get called 9/10) is out of this world. He earned his reputation as a hard defender, so he gets away with more. To be honest, it is pretty obvious watching it on TV.

You must not watch a lot of OSU basketball. I watch about every game. When he is on the ball he usually hands straight up in the air, moves laterally and tries to beat his man to the spot (this is where most of you feel he should be called for a blocking foul). Most of his steals are not when his man has the ball but on deflected passes. He doesn't reach in for the ball much when his man has the ball. You need to watch him play more.

You are just jealous. He is a starting PG on a top 5 team. He won't be an NBA player but will most likely be a Dr. some day. He is a gritty player that just happens to play on a team you don't like. What kind of player do you like? I don't get the hate for this kid.
