Get StartedFor the record, Craft had a whopping 7 fouls called against him in three tournament games (94 minutes) last year. Which was right about his season average.Hungry said:tomdalton22 said:He gets away with contact because he is in position. The defender has just as much right to a spot on the floor as the offensive player. Nobody is used to that kind of play becuase nobody plays defense anymore.
No. If there is contact made and the defender is moving his feet, its a blocking foul. He has the right to a position if and only if his feet are set. Craft hits guys with his chest and shoulders constantly. Its a blocking foul, but if they called it everytime he did it, he'd foul out in 5 minutes.
That shit won't work when they get to the tournament.

Edit: In the Kentucky game he had one whole foul called against him.

He plays differently in the tournament games, because he knows he won't get away with it and so do the other players. This causes the entire team to play worse than they should, which leads to them having exits earlier than they should (is that better than saying 'flame-out?') They'll get a high seed again this year and be out by the sweet 16 again.

They made it to the sweet 16 the past 2 years with their high seeds....how can they be out by the sweet 16 again?

He earned his reputation as a hard defender, so he gets away with more. To be honest, it is pretty obvious watching it on TV.
Yep, homer OSU fan doesn't see it because he's a homer
back to homer OSU fan: They are only currently ranked in the top 5. That doesn't mean they are a top 5 team. Do you really think they are one of the top 5 teams in the nation? That is laughable. At the end of year, after the tournament, they won't be in the top 5.

I was always wondering who that was. Is he a famous architect that attended UM or something? They're always saying he built Crisler. I wonder if he's been involved with the renovations.

of course Pearl was a bald-faced liar and a scumbag ... but still.
