It is inevitable that the Red Wings are going to eventually miss the playoffs and have some sub-par if not a few crappy seasons especially now that there is a salary cap, IMO.
Whether or not the Red Wings will yet again rise to become the cream of the crop in the NHL will depend on the health, desire, and whims of the club's present and near-future ownership, and the success and abilities of their management, scouting, coaching, and player development.
It was a mostly good, sometimes great, very, very, long, and historic playoff run, IF it is going to come to an end in this abbreviated NHL season.
Well we are losing it on tiebreakers right now...its not over yet...And i think Grand Rapids is in first place last i looked... Hopefully we will make it still and be good going forward.. Holland needs to find some scoring in my opinion.. We need a sharpshooter..
