I've heard enough from the take trump down at any cost Dems, Senate repubs get to start this weekend or Monday. I think Rudi should testify ;-) Let Bolton throw trump under the bus to, won't matter. lid/door

I think I'll put you in the category of "look the other way no matter what he did/does" Trump worshipers.

Also in before the obligatory "no better option" bullshit

Bernie Sanders.

your buddy, Joe Rogan, just endorsed him too.

Man, Bernie Sanders is so great!

Yeah and I heard the establishment left attacked that and pulled out the ol race card again what else is new and Hillary still won?t go away

Tucker is right, Bernie will be the dem nominee unless they find away to steal it from him again. I can?t vote for Bernie though, can?t get on board with his positions on too many of these issues

50/50 not good enough, with trump on 80/20

Here is one of the big problems with the free college plan as one of the items not on board with

Impeachment is no good for a country. I don't think he did anything to deserve it but not good for the US of A.

I'd be curious what others thought when Clinton was going through this? Is this a pub/dem thing or what. With or against based on being right or left?

Honestly I think that the house Dems didn't find the smoking gun they thought they would, and have made themselves look stupid by continuing to push impeachment, especially since we know no matter what crimes he may have committed, the republican senate would not vote to convict anyway.

Very similar to what happened with Clinton, the same thing Dems are doing now is what the republicans in the house did in '98/'99, so when republicans bitch about it they need to remember their history. Same with Dems who complained back then that it was an unfair and partisan attack, they are repeating that same history.

Honestly I was much younger then and wasn?t really paying much attention to it but do recall feeling it wasn?t something impeachment worthily and didn?t have any problem with the republicans failing. I was also never excessively vocal politically until trump, and used to back independents all the time like Perot and Nader.

Voting was pretty much straight partisan lines then, also.

Pretty much, but a few Dems did vote to impeach Clinton, not one single Republican did so with Trump, with 2 abstaining so as not to have a 'nay' vote on their record.

At least back then they were adult enough to agree on basic rules. We can't even do that nowadays.

But really though, fuck him for sitting on this so he could sell some books.

Unless this is an elaborate ploy set up by the GOP where they bring him in, get the Dems hopes up, and Bolton denies it all and blames the liberal media for spreading false info. Then I say well played GOP.

I've never been a Bolton Fan and wasn't in favor of Trump bringing him in. It's really too bad the coup peeps ran Flynn out like they did things could have been different if they hadn't set him up.

Do you have a link to that Biden video Cruz is talking about? I don't believe I've seen it yet. I would like to see a nice dagger to his campaign.

Also, that reporter is really, really fucking bad at his job. I'm glad Cruz made him look like the partisan douche he is. I hate reporters that interrupt. Fuck that guy.

*edit* Oh, and Cruz (and many GOP's) talking point that the House didn't do their job well enough is so tired. First because they tried to get Bolton back in November but he declined directives from the White House after he left his post. So when Trump and Cruz mention it, remember that it's bullshit. And Bolton wasn't the only one, just the most relevant.

And also because the House's job is to decide if it worth investigating, like a Grand Jury. McConnell has beat home this idea that the Senate's only job is to vote guilty or not guilty and it's flat out wrong. You don't show your whole hand/investigation in a Grand Jury proceeding. Denying any and all witnesses and testimonies because 'it's not necessary, they have no case' is the most ridiculous thing in this whole circus. You would never see that in an actual court proceeding.

I was really surprised he brought him on. Ran on a campaign of 'get the troops out' and Bolton is a known war monger. Not surprised he didn't last.
