Denard Robinson

is Michigan's QB and I'm a fan.

People better get used to it. This isn't like getting behind Rich Rod or not. This is a player. He is the QB this year and he is more than likely going to be the QB next year. I have't seen anything from Devin Gardner to prove otherwise. Then he will be gone, so anyone who doesn't like him will eventually get what they want. While he's here, though, we should all hope he does well. I just wish he'd run more!!

I agree, and I think DRob isn't running more simply because Borges doesn't want him to. My biggest bitch I have had with offense (as the season has progressed) is Michigan only runs DRob with QB powers/sweeps. If Borges would use the zone read, that would free up a linemen to get to the 2nd level and hopefully pick up a LB flying around after Denard.

With passing, I wish DRob would feel comfortable running right away if his 1st/2nd options aren't available. Defenses WANT DRob to stay in the pocket, so him being a run threat would open up his WRs and force defenses to spy him constantly.

I support DRob as the QB, but wish to hell Borges would let him run free with zone reads and more pass options. With the way the defense is playing, I think Michigan could take out anyone in the country when they are hitting on all cylinders on offense.

am i wrong?...are you going to debate the comment or just be a dumb ass? Fact is he gets injured all the effing time and hes not a very good qb. He good at running the ball....ok...so put him at h back or in the slot. Again...its not fair to the team to pull out the starting qb you give most of the reps to every weak cause of boo boos. It happened all to often with tate forcier and is already happeneing to DG. If you want to prepare DG to be your future starter you dont put him into those circumstances. Hey, if youre not sold on DG as your starter than its all good....keep rotating like a frikken 5th grade flag team.

"You don't realize that in your argument for Gardner to be the starter, you have yet to cite the reasons Gardner should be the starter"

Cause hes a quarterback

"all you've done is rail on Denard's shortcomings."

Theres a lot of them. Including, ofcourse, hes not a quarterback.

"When you argue the reasons Devin should be the starter, well, then I'll no longer believe, I'll know that you hold a monopoly on dumbass."

Dumbass."

I dont even know what this says.

....there i win.

Bellomy is a QB, so I think we should start him

I do have to say - I was really happy to see Devin Gardner come in yesterday in the role he should be playing in a situation where Michigan needed him - to step in as backup QB for the dinged up starter - and not be totally awful - no big tackles for losses, no passes thrown 3 yards beyond the line of scrimmage, none of that.

In fact, he actually looked pretty good!

Go Blue!!!
