Marvin Jones' route-running stood out to Lions.
Lions.com

Lions GM Bob Quinn praised Marvin Jones' ability as a route runner.
"I thought Marvin was a very good route runner," Quinn said. "He’s not just a one-dimensional receiver. He can run vertical routes, he can run short routes, he can run intermediate routes. He’s got very good hands, so I think he’s a guy that can get open and catch the football." Coach Jim Caldwell said Jones brings a "full arsenal in terms of routes" to the offense. Jones was limited as the No. 2 to A.J. Green in Cincinnati, but it is clear the Lions believe he has all the skills necessary to be a true No. 1. He should be given plenty of opportunities to prove them right.
