Detroit Lions - Team Notes

CB Darius Slay (@_bigplayslay23) recorded 1 pass defense on the first possession of the game.
Since entering the NFL in 2013, Slay has posted at least 1 PD in 54 of his 91 career games, the 2nd-most games with at least 1 PD in that span.

Lions RB Kerryon Johnson's @AyeyoKEJO 36-yard TD reception marks the longest reception of his career.The play also marks the longest TD reception by a Lions RB since Reggie Bush had a 77-yard TD reception vs. MIN on Sept. 8, 2013.

DT A'Shawn Robinson & DE Romeo Okwara (@RomeoND45) split the 1st quarter sack. This marks sack No. 4.0 for Robinson and No. 9.0 for Okwara.
The Lions have now recorded at least 1.0 sack in 13-straight home games, tied for the 5th-longest streak in team history.

With his 27-yard reception, Lions WR Kenny Golladay (@kgxix) is tied with WR Nate Burleson (@nateburleson) for the 9th-most 25+ yard receptions in team history (16).

Lions LB Jahlani Tavai @tavai31 becomes the 5th rookie LB in team history to have a game with at least 5 tackles & 1 FF. He also becomes the 3rd rookie LB to force a fumble within his first two career NFL games.

Lions QB Matthew Stafford has passed QB Ben Roethlisberger (39,157) for the 6th-most passing yards a player has had within his first 11 NFL seasons.

Lions LB Jahlani Tavai @tavai31 becomes the 10th rookie LB in the NFL since 1993 to produce at least 10 tackles, 1.0 sack & 1 FF within his first 2 career games.

Lions RB Kerryon Johnson (@AyeyoKEJO) becomes the 5th player in Lions
history to top 1,000 yards from scrimmage within his first 12 NFL games.
The most recent to do so was RB Barry Sanders in 1989.

Lions WR Kenny Golladay (@kgxix) has passed WR Dorne Dibble (1,655) for the 10th-most yards a Lions player has had within his first 3 seasons.

Lions WR Kenny Golladay (@kgxix) has notched his 4th-career 100-yard game, tied for the 3rd-most a Lions player has produced within his first 28 career games.

Lions CB Darius Slay (@_bigplayslay23) sealed the Lions' victory over the #Chargers with a 4th quarter INT. Since 2014, Slay has 9 4th-quarter INTs, accounting for exactly half of his 18 career INTs. No other CB in the NFL has more 4th-quarter INTs in that span.
