Such bs, losing a former top flight receiver at the tail end of his career writes off the Lions? The affect of losing CJ should be noted, but not overblown(which every article and analyst has done). Levy's back, added talent on the online, dline, and secondary should leave this team somewhere in the middle of the pack, not in the bottom 5.

I understand your frustration but in reality, the Lions earned this. We are not any better than last year on paper, rookies are not going to make an immediate impact, and we lost CJ. It all fits really. Loosing CJ is like the Redwings losing Lidstrom. The guy was a matchup nightmare and teams had to game plan around him. Two things in our favor to prove these writers wrong, easier schedule, and better overall team depth. Now, if we can run the rock, we could be looking at 8 or 9 wins.
