There?s no denying that Sunday?s loss to the Minnesota Vikings was devastating for the Detroit Lions. The team has now lost three straight games, have four fewer wins than the division-leading Green Bay Packers, and find themselves scrambling for answers on the defensive side of the ball, despite a roster that should be better than last year?s squad.

In typical fashion, Lions fans are jumping ship by the masses. Despite an impressively-high confidence level after the Packers game, all it took was one Kirk Cousins beatdown to convince fans this team is no longer capable of competing.

And there?s some truth to that. The Lions are now in an unenviable position both in their own division and in a conference that looks daunting. But, believe it or not, there are some positives to take from this game, and some hope for the immediate future. The Lions? season isn?t over, but it needs a turnaround, and it needs it right now.
