Lions GM Bob Quinn provided no update on Stephen Tulloch's status with the Lions. He was told in February he wouldn't be part of the team but is still on the roster. He also said Taylor Decker will be the left tackle if he is the best left tackle on the roster.

Lions QB Matthew Stafford, speaking at the Charlie Sanders golf event, said he thinks the landscape of media has changed and that is why more athletes might avoid taking stances on social issues. He said it is a personal preference whether or not athletes want to say anything, but Twitter has definitely changed things.

Lions WR Golden Tate said he thinks athletes don't take social stands as much in today's world for multiple reasons, including possible branding opportunities. Twitter has changed things as well and forced athletes to think more before they speak. Said it is personal preference.

Despite some talent up front, Detroit's protection for Matthew Stafford just hasn't been good enough. And on defense, Pro Football Focus doesn't like what it sees besides two key players. Ranking rosters (Insider).
