UCLA DT Kenny Clark said he watches a lot of Haloti Ngata's game. Said he likes his overall game as well as how he can be disruptive in the backfield.

Ole Miss DT Robert Nkemdiche, when I asked him if there was regret with everything that happened to him, said "there's regret but keep moving forward. That's life." He said he has an interview set up with the Lions.

Alabama DT A'Shawn Robinson -- a possible Lions target -- met with the Lions, including DL coach Kris Kocurek -- last night. The Lions have a need at DT.

Notre Dame LB Jaylon Smith said his goal is to play at some point during the 2016 season. Said nerve wasn't damaged. Torn ACL.
