Detroit Lions icons: Did we miss someone?

Lou Creekmur played in eight straight Pro Bowls and won three NFL championships with the Detroit Lions in the 1950s. Jason Hanson was the model of consistency over his 20-year career, the longest for one player with one team. Defensive backs Yale Lary, Jack Christiansen and Dick LeBeau played in Detroit and ended up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

But none of them made the cut for a special Detroit Free Press page commemorating the greatest players and coaches in Lions history.
