Detroit should be afraid of facing Texas in the ALDS

Uh..yeah, as the Rangers are a "dominating" 3-6 for the season vs the Tigers, and except when they may face Verlander and/or the Tigers @ CoPa, according to some of the comments (including the last one) made by the poster peanut gallery below the blog article...lol!!

Have to admit though, that their SP Alexi Ogando has pretty much owned the Tigers this season, with all 3 of the Rangers wins. Strange how (edit after re-reading them) only one of the commenters even mentioned him.

we're not playing Texas unless the angels win the wild card.

Yeah, I know that, as the odds are very remote that the Tigers would play the Rangers in the ALDS, but they are not impossible...yet.

I didn't write the blog, but thought that it was interesting to read about what Rangers fans think about the Tigers, and it was worthwhile enough to link and create a topic here about it.

It just sucks that we are behind Texas for home field now in the opening. round....

Oganda will be in the bullpen I'm pretty sure.

But I'd love it if he would start against us.

He's thrown 120 more innings than he did last year already.

His 2nd half stats are mediocre:

4.55 ERA, .749 OPS against, 1.342 WHIP.

The guy that wrote that is a fucking idiot. I hope we see them in the ALCS and sweep.

He is.
That is the rangers baseball blog from SBNation.
some of the blogs are good, unbiased, and objective with good writers like the blessyouboys tigers bloggers.
others like this one and halo's heaven with rev. whatever his name is, are nothing but rabble rousing doucebags. consider the sources.
Many of these sites have picked up steam/posters since espn shit their pants with their new forums. Add to that, some teams get a taste of winning, playoffs world series etc. they think their shit is ice cream. Thinking here, redsox, phillies, giants, any team that has had recent success. It's typical of "all teams fans".

Al Beaton, who blogs on his Bloguin website, "The Wayne Fontes Experience" has helped out on the "Bless You Boys" blog on occasion. I registered on the Bloguin network a couple of years ago and have commented on his gameday blogs during the Lions' past several seasons. I was w/o the internet for a month, and when I "got it back" a week ago, I browsed his blog and noticed that he hadn't updated it since the night after the Lions first game of the season.

Beaton had been ill earlier this spring, so I did a search and found his Twitter account, where he had tweeted that he was hospitalized again, so I sent him a "get well" tweet. Al is obviously a devout and die-hard Lions fan, for better or worse.

You're right Doug, Al is a good guy, I read the past week or two he has had some Crohns disease problems, a fever, and was in and out of the hospital. He is the host on those blessyouboys Podcast with Kurt, Allie, and a few others. One of the very best of all the Tigers bloggers along with MCB-Tigers.
