Casey Crosby returned from the DL today, threw 80 pitches over 4 2/3 IP. Allowed 4 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 3 K. 10 groundouts; 48 strikes.

Nick Castellanos with a 3-4 night for Toledo; including his 16th double.

Bruce Rondon picked up his 10th save in Toledo a couple days ago, but Leyland said there is no time frame to bring him back up.

Jake Thompson, the Tigers' top pick in last June's First-Year Player Draft, has been promoted to Class A West Michigan to begin his 2013 season. Thompson, a second-round selection, made seven starts for the Tigers' Gulf Coast League team last summer, going 1-2 with a 1.91 ERA. He spent the last couple of months in extended spring training. Thompson is scheduled to make his first start on Friday.
