RH'er Drew VerHagen may be the next to be promoted to Detroit, should another injury occur. He threw a complete game shutout today for Erie.

Also, shortstop Suarez's bat is finally beginning to wake up in AA-Ball there. He could be on-target for Detroit in another year.
