Here is how some other Tigers players finished among the league leaders this season:

PITCHING
Strikeouts: David Price struck out eight Sunday to pass Cy Young Award candidate Corey Kluber to finish first in the American League in strikeouts. Price finished with 271 to 269 for Kluber. Max Scherzer finished third with 252.

Victories: Scherzer, Kluber and Los Angeles Angels starter Jered Weaver finished tied for first with 18 wins.

ERA: Scherzer was ninth at 3.15. Felix Hernandez (2.14) edged out Chris Sale (2.17) for the ERA title.

Saves: Joe Nathan finished fifth in the American League with 35 saves. Former Tigers closer Fernando Rodney finished first with 48 saves for the Seattle Mariners.

Innings pitched: Price led the American League with 248 1/3 innings pitched. Scherzer, Justin Verlander and Rick Porcello were among the top 13 in the league in innings pitched.

WHIP: Price finished fifth in the AL at 1.08.

HITTING
Batting average: Martinez was second. Miguel Cabrera was seventh at .313. J.D. Martinez hit .315, but he didn't have enough plate appearances to qualify for the batting race. A player has to have 3.1 plate appearances per team game played, or 502 for a full season. J.D. Martinez finished with 480 plate appearances.

OPS: Martinez (.974) beat out Chicago White Sox rookie Jose Abreu (.964) for the best OPS in the American League. Cabrera was sixth at .895.

Runs: Cabrera (101) finished tied for third behind Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels. Ian Kinsler finished fifth with 100 runs.

Hits: Cabrera finished third with 191 hits. Kinsler and Victor Martinez were tied for fourth with 188.

Doubles: Cabrera led the American League with 52. Kinsler was tied for fourth with 40.

Home runs: Victor Martinez was eighth with 32. Nelson Cruz of the Baltimore Orioles led the league with 40.

RBIs: Cabrera was second with 109 and Victor Martinez tied for seventh with 103.

Stolen bases: Rajai Davis was tied for third with 36. That's one more stolen base than the Tigers had as a team in 2013.
