Is he in over his head? No. I just believe he?s a young manager trying to learn the gig on the fly.
He was never the ideal candidate for a club that expects to win now. His future seems murky at best. If the Tigers don?t make the postseason, the front office could opt for a change and cut its losses.
There?s even uncertainty with management considering Dave Dombrowski?s contract is set to expire following the season and there?s been no leaks on an extension.

Ausmus isn't the right manager for a Tigers club that expects to win now. Never was.
