Detroit Tigers Team Notes Over 3 Million Views!!! Thankyou!

#Tigers linked w/ #Dodgers on Price. Julio Urias likely inbound top prospect. Only 18 y/o, pitching at AA. 3.51 ERA. 58:10 K to walk ratio.

Both Julio Urias and Grant Holmes are teenagers, which doesn't play into rebooting for 2016. But they have the kind of upside Tigers lack.

All three left-handers coming to the Tigers are starting pitchers.

Norris, 22, is listed as the 18th best prospect by Baseball America prior to this season and the 25th best prospect by MLB Pipeline during their most recent rankings. The Blue Jays selected him in the second round of the 2011 draft.

Norris is 1-1 with a 4.20 ERA and a 1.500 WHIP in 10 games, including six starts, for the Blue Jays in 2014 and 2015. He is 3-10 with a 4.27 ERA and a 1.511 WHIP in Triple-A Buffalo this season.

His fastball is in the low to mid-90s and his slider is the best of his secondary pitches, according to online scouting reports. He also throws a changeup and a curveball.

Boyd was roughed up in two starts for the Blue Jays this season in his first action in the majors. He is 3-1 with a 2.77 ERA and a 0.974 WHIP for Triple-A Buffalo after dominating Double-A competition earlier this season for New Hampshire. He was 6-1 with a 1.10 ERA and a 0.774 WHIP in 12 starts there.

Labourt is 2-7 with a 4.59 ERA and a 1.581 WHIP for high Class A Dunedin this season. Labourt, 21, is listed at 6 feet, 4 inches tall and 204 pounds.

The Tigers moved left-hander Kyle Lobstein to the 60-day disabled list to make room on the 40-man roster for Norris and Boyd.
