Detroit Tigers Team Notes Over 3 Million Views!!! Thankyou!

This has to come as a big relief for the Tigers: MRI results returned revealing no structural damage to Cameron Maybin's left thumb. The 29-year-old CF is unlikely to play Wednesday vs. CWS. With upcoming off day Thursday, team would like him to take a few days to heal.

DETROIT – Miguel Cabrera is getting the day off in the Detroit Tigers series finale with the Chicago White Sox because of a sore ankle.
Manager Brad Ausmus said Cabrera's surgically repaired ankle "flared up" and sitting him against the White Sox will give the Detroit Tigers slugger almost three full days off.
The Tigers are idle Thursday before kicking off a three-game series Friday night in Kansas City.
With Cabrera out, designated hitter Victor Martinez will bat third and Jarrod Saltalamacchia will play first base.

Read into this what you will: the Tigers found two praying mantises in the dugout this series, one in the actual dugout, one peering over "with two little eyeballs" as manager Brad Ausmus described. Ausmus said he finds it "amusing" that Kansas City Royals have a "rally mantis" but then again "they've been hot so I guess I can't really argue with it."
Ausmus, however, seemed disturbed at the suggestion of bringing the pair of mantises with them on the road to KC. He grew up in CT, which passed legislature in 1977 to name the European "praying" Mantis the state insect. Sounded wary of violating any laws protecting or transporting the bugs. I'm not making this up.
