Deyonta Davis to play in McDonald's AA game

this 2015 class is along the lines of what I feel we should pull in each year, one elite talent and a few good, complimentary 4yr guys

Happy for Davis, he's the best shot blocker to come into MSU I can remember. The kid has worked hard to make himself into what he is.

Add in Swanigan and its what I expect. With the following year maybe 1 MCDAA.

I see 4 star on most of the major ratings sites, if so hed be the first that played in that event (that im aware of) that wasnt a high 5 star.

I still feel Swanigan is a long shot. We are hurting at the point as much as we ever have in Izzos tenure. There better be some focus on landing someone in the following class.

Where are you looking? 5 star on 247, Rivals, Scout. He's a top 25 player.

He was 4 star ranked number 45 awhile back on rivals also...his stock has increased.

Yeah, that's what happens when you dominate the best AAU league in the country and are averaging almost a triple double your senior year. After his AAU summer in California scouts were talking about him as a top 10 player, some even said top 5. He and Swannigan played on the same team and Davis averaged more points, more rebounds, and more blocks playing next to him. They both talked about wanting to play together in college.
